I'm back Home!

Well this has been quite a whirlwind week.  Since Sunday I've been out in California working with my favorite peoples of Hero Arts in meetings and planning for the up coming year.  We had a special treat as a team building exercise on Monday where we were set loose in a kitchen (the one used for season one of Top Chef) to cook a fantastic lunch meal for ourselves.
Here's a few shots....

A little card share....

This is a card I did for the Hero Arts Holiday release.  These bats are so stinkin cute and spookeeeee, I love the belly button! Fun color scheme to work with for Halloween.  I used color pencils and Bo Bunny paper.

We have a winner!

Sorry it took me most of the day to get to this... I was installing a new sump pump in our basement... had to make a few trips to the hardware store, but I got it done and it's hummin like a real gem! Chalk one up for the girl team!!!

Okay so here we go.... I had several comments left here on my blog for a chance to win these latest book from Design Originals.

I put the numbers into Random dot org and it generated #31!!!! (It's kinda tiny to see on the screen-shot).

New look for the Fall and Winter

I went through some of my favorite digital kits to create some fun buttons, banners and strips for my blog.  I was over due for a change, feels good to rearrange and look at it all jazzed up.

This first set of Woodcut Owls are just too cute for words...they make me smile! These guys can be colored to capture any season.

And I love this Climbing Vine. I put two types of images in the kit, one that is colored in ready to plop on a card. The other image is just black line which I've colorized to white for my banner.

One of my all time favorite stamp collections is Real Flowers and am so thrilled to have them in digital format to play with once again.  I recolored the images to reflect the fall colors.  Yummy!


And this little strip of dots will be out next Tuesday on 2ps.  I just recolored each dot by using the paint bucket tool.

I hope everyone has a fantastic week-end. Oh and by the way so far I've packed up 7 boxes of goodies from my studio purge. And they're not small! I can't wait to get to the give-away part.

Published Again and GIVEAWAY!

I was recently asked to create some projects for a couple new Design Original books.  Both books are based around t!m's Idea-ology.  Love his stuff, so easy to work with and I had a blast!!! 

Edited to say: t!m does not have featured art in these editions, the books are based on his products.
