Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks: RSVP, Block Party, Eventful and Gridlocked

Hi there!  Thanks for stopping by again today for more sneak peeks!  I have two projects to share today.  The first uses the NEW RSVP, Eventful and Block Party - Party!!  RSVP is a new stamp set that is perfect for invitations of any kind.  It will give you all of the important details of the party! :)  Eventful has all of the occasions!  These two sets work perfectly together!

My invitation is for a pool party!  I've used quite a bit of dies on my invitation as well!  The first is the NEW Block Party - Party.  That gives us the big "party" across the bottom.  The others are previously released Little Bits.  I used Little Bits - Flip Flops, Beach Umbrella and Beach Ball.

My second project uses the NEW Build a Tag 4 along with Gridlocked.  Build a Tag 4 is the newest in the Build a Tag line of dies.  Gridlocked is a new set that coordinates perfectly with Build a Tag 4. Gridlocked is just like it sounds, a set full of grids!  There is also a coordinating die, Gridlocked, sold separately.

Also on my card, I used the Little Bits - Bumble Bee because it worked perfectly with this sentiment!  The background was created with the Corrugated Embossing Folder.  I added some Summer Nights Matched Sequins for some sparkle too!

Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks: Little Bits Neckties, Punny Man and My Favorite Dad

Welcome back for Day 2 of sneak peeks!  I hope you're liking what you're seeing so far!  I have two more projects to share with you today.  The first uses the NEW Little Bits - Neckties and the NEW set Punny Man.

Little Bits - Neckties has three different ties in the die set.  For my card, I die cut them out of 3 different papers, Blue Corn, Earl Grey and Summer Nights 6x6 Paper Pack.  For the tag on the card, I used the NEW Build a Tag 4.  I just LOVE the stitching around the outside of the largest piece of the tag.  The sentiments are from the NEW Punny Man set, which has exactly that. . .punny sentiments!  :)  The last new product on this card is the Corrugated Embossing Folder that I used for the background.  I love the texture it gives!

The second project I have uses the NEW My Favorite Dad set.  My Favorite Dad has great sentiments for Father's Day. . .or for when you just want to tell your dad how wonderful he is!  I paired this sentiment with another one of the new Little Bits dies, Little Bits - Mug.

I die cut the mug out of vellum and then colored the back side with a Copic marker.  The background of this card was created using the NEW Argyle Cutting Plate.  I love this new cutting plate.  I can't wait to try some other "looks" for this cutting plate with changing the colors that show through!

Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks: Of Thee I Sing and Starry Night Cutting Plate

Welcome to Day 1 of sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions!  We have a lot of new and exciting products to share with you over the next few days!  I hope you'll visit daily to see what's new!!  I have two projects to share today.  The first uses the NEW Of Thee I Sing set.

Of Thee I Sing is a patriotic set with sentiments from patriotic songs as well as a "thank you for your service" as used on my card.  I have also used the NEW Summer Nights 6x6 Paper Pack as well as the Summer Nights Matched Kit, which includes new cardstock colors Blue Corn and Red Pepper.  The other new product on this card is the Little Bits - Flag.  The Little Bits - Flag is the perfect little addition to any patriotic project!

The second project I have for today uses the NEW Starry Night Cutting Plate.  I just LOVE this cutting plate!  :)  In order to get the stars red and blue, I cut up and adhered little pieces of Red Pepper and Blue Corn cardstock to the backside of the white cardstock.  It was a lot of cutting, but I love the final result.

The sentiment is also from the Of Thee I Sing set.  The musical notes and staff are also a stamp included in the Of Thee I Sing set.  I stamped those in a light gray ink.  The Little Bits - Flag, again is the perfect little addition to this card as well as the NEW Summer Nights Matched Sequins!

Color the World

Hi there!   Today I have a card that inspired by two different pins I found on Pinterest!  The first is this lovely card by Taylor and the second is this beautiful card by Kay.  On Taylor's card, I was inspired by the flowers that she die cut out of different colors.  I tend to either use these dies and either color the stem and flower to look like a normal flower, or I "paper piece" the die cut to make it more than one color.  I decided the solid colored die cut flowers would give the card a modern feel and I liked that!

On Kay's card, I was inspired by the sponged background that gave such a nice, soft feel to the card.  I combined these two elements to come up with my card.  I used the Silhouette Stems 2 die and die cut the flower out of Candy Corn, Granny Smith, Oreo and Lollipop cardstock.  After I sponged the background of the card with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then added droplets of a blue and gold spray mist.  Next I attached the die cut flowers and them stamped and embossed the sentiment from The World Is Waiting in white.

I hope you've been inspired!  Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Little Lady

I have a card to share today that I've made early for a special little lady's birthday!  ;)  I used the Tall & Skinny # Dies as well as the Bugs & Balloons Stamp & Die Combo from Taylored Expressions.

I started with some Strawberry Milkshake cardstock and die cut random numbers out of it.  I saved the inner pieces so that I could put them in after I mounted the piece onto the card with foam tape.  Since it will be the special lady's 6th birthday, I put a piece of patterned paper from the Double the Joy 6x6 Paper Pack behind the six and lined it with some Stardust Stickles so it would stick out!  I also added some die cut flowers from the Bugs & Balloons Stamp & Die Combo along with some dots of Stardust Stickles on the card front.

The ladybug was die cut, stamped and mounted onto the card front with foam tape as well.  The ladybug was made from Cupcake cardstock.  I think the special lady this is for is going to LOVE this card!  :)

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day!
