It's RELEASE DAY!! All of the products you've seen over the last few days are NOW AVAILABLE in the TE Store! I have one more project to share with you before you head over to the store! ;) This uses the NEW Bloom Where You're Planted Dies.
I created these magnets for my daughters' lockers. I started by diecutting 3 bases using the NEW Bloomin' Stacklets 2. Next, I die cut all of the pieces to the flower pots using the Bloom Where You're Planted Dies. I made each flower a little different in either color or shape. Finally, I used the NEW Chunky Alpha to personalize each one with their initial.
On the back, I adhered a magnet that's meant for business cards. There is already an adhesive on them that you peel off the backing and stick your business card to. . .but in this case, they worked well for the back of the Bloomin' Stacklet 2.
Thanks for stopping by all week! I hope you've been inspired and enjoyed seeing the new products! The rest of the Baker's Dozen also have projects to share today! HAPPY SHOPPING!
I hope you've been enjoying the sneak peeks this week! Everything you've been seeing will be available for purchase tomorrow, March 6!! Today I have two projects to share with you. The first uses the NEW Graphic Greetings - Mom.
I used papers from the Memorable Collection from My Mind's Eye. I stamped and embossed Graphic Greetings - Mom onto vellum in white. I adhered the vellum over the patterned paper and added rhinestones to the corners. The little butterflies are from a new die set being released called In Flight Overlays. I love how the butterflies add a subtle little sweetness! :)
My second project for today uses the new die set called Beauty Lies Within. If this die looks familiar, it's because it's the die form of the stamp from Embrace Beauty. I die cut the image a number of times out of different colored cardstocks so that I could piece them together for this multi-color image.
The little flowers I added are from the Flower Box Sprigs & Flowers Die Set. The sentiment is from the NEW Shade Tree Sentiments set. I just LOVE how this die set can be used on a simple card and add so much. I just love all of the dies in this set!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen! Please be sure to visit the rest of the Baker's Dozen for more!
Welcome to Verve's March Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time! This month we've got a fabulous challenge that's sure to put a string in your step! Our March challenge is Spring Has Sprung:
It's time to ditch the winter blues! Create a card that sings Spring using inspirational quotes, pretty colors and florals or themes that celebrate new life. Whether you draw inspiration from the graphic or blaze your own trail, just show us what spring means to you!
For my card, I used the Beautiful Kindness and Serenity stamp sets. I started by stamping and embossing the butterfly from Beautiful Kindness in white. Next, I stamped the flowers from Serenity onto the pink cardstock. I hand cut the butterfly and then attached it over the flowers.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Beautiful Kindness and then added some mini roses and Stardust Stickles to finish the card. I just LOVED this month's inspiration piece!
Need a little inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what the other Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines.
Welcome back for Day 2 of sneak peeks! Today I have a couple of scrapbook pages to share with you using the NEW Pockets & Pages Fab Frames. Pockets & Pages Fab Frames is the newest in the pocket scrapbooking line and they coordinate with both P&P 3x4 Essentials and P&P 4x4 Essentials.
For my pages, I used both the positive and the negative part of the die for my "hello", "smile" and "insta" blocks. I also used the NEW Chunky Alpha to spell out "Summer".
The random arrows throughout the pages use the NEW Pockets & Pages 2x2 Essentials. These pictures are from our summer vacation a couple of years ago. It's amazing how much younger the kids look to me and it was only 2 years ago!! I used bright, summery colors for the pages along with some fun Trendy Tape in Green Mega Dot and Blue Mega Dot to add to the fun colors.
Be sure to visit the rest of the Baker's Dozen to see what they have to show you today!! Thanks for stopping by!
Welcome to Day 1 of the March Sneak Peeks at Taylored Expressions!! We have lots to show you over the next few days, so please continue to stop back! I have two projects to share today and the first uses the NEW Shade Tree Sentiments set. Shade Tree Sentiments coordinates with the previously released Shade Tree Cutting Plate.
The sentiments fit perfectly under the branches of the cutting plate. For my card I used the Kneehighs Collection from Basic Grey. After using the Shade Tree Cutting Plate on the green cardstock, I trimmed the patterned papers to fit perfectly behind the tree, following the curves. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white onto black cardstock. As a finishing touch, I added some Beetle Black Doodle Twine to balance out the sentiment.
For my second project, I used the NEW Neighborhood Border Die. This is a fun, new border die!! You can die cut it multiple times and create a city! I kept my card simple. I used patterned paper from the Sweet Girl Collection from Echo Park. I die cut the neighborhood out of black cardstock using the Neighborhood Border Die. I mounted it over the patterned paper with foam tape.
Next I used the Large Scallop Border Die for the top of the card. The banner and sentiment is from another new set coming out this month called Welcome Home. Welcome Home has its own coordinating die set called Build a House, which is what the banner die is from.
