Migrain yesterday - back today!I had all intentions of posting here yesterday, but I had a very bad migrain and I had 2 sessions of club yesterday, so I knew something had to give so that I could be on top of my game for my club members. So unfortunately no posting to my blog happened yesterday. But I'm much better today, the headache is gone, but I still have what I call "migrain hangover".
 We used the sale-a-bration punch scallop trim boarder punch (free with a $50.00 order) as well as whimsical words also a sale-a-bration product that can be earned with an order of $50.00! Don't you just love those flowers?  We used rhinestone brads in the center of the flowes to give it that extra "pop".  Here's a close up of the flowers, can you see the beautiful shimmer on these babies? These things sparkle in real life! We used a mixture of rubbing alcohol and shimmer paint to get this beautiful affect! Do you know how to make leaves without having to cut them out by hand? My club ladies learned Monday night exactly how to do that. Maybe I'll do a tutorial later this week to show you how easy and fun it is to make these leaves. February Thank You'sHi everyone, it's been a few days sense I posted last. I haven't had much time for stamping. Last night I had a demonstrator meeting, so I've been spending some time getting ready for that. I started my demonstrator business boot camp last night for my girlies and I'm pretty excited to see where this will take them in their business.
 I think these are super cute. I love the pixie pink with the black, it really pops. I used the i heart hearts set. I'm telling you, I'm really not a hearts type of person, but I like this set and I love that it's not just for valentines day! I used strips of designer paper from the welcome neighbor paper pack(FREE WITH A $50.00 ORDER). I also used the new heart pinking boarder punch in the mini catalog. I think I'll add a set of these to my Etsy store later. Be sure to check them out over there.  I started a facebook page for my Stampin Up business. I'll start one project go onto the next and then start another one before I finish any of them. I just get all these ideas and I have to get them out, before I forget.
 Angela's helpful hints: - Stampin UP packages their designer papers in a fool proof way, so if you use 2 designer papers from the same pack you know that they'll go together. - Using your markers like I did on the saying is a great way to get more then one color on an image. Simple color with your markers directly onto your stamp and then stamp them on your cardstock. - I also used my black marker to make faux stitched lines around my heart. - As always using our punches is a quick effective way to get a card done in a hurry. Here I used the full heart punch, large oval and oval scallop punch. don't forget that right now during sale-a-bration for every $50.00 you purchase you will receive a free saleabration stamp set of your choice! It's been crazy here. I do have good news to share. I finally have a car again! It's been about a month without a car and let me tell you, I am excited!
This first picture is of Mel sewing together her little felt bag with Joanne giving her moral support in the background.  The next picture is Laura and Kathy working very seriously on putting their sweet pea stitched flowers onto the front of their felt bags.  And then my camera battery died! So if you would like to join us at our next fun demo class, contact me about becoming a demonstrator. Here is one of the projects they did the other night. I did this project weeks ago and then I went on the computer and saw someone who did one almost exactly the same. I think it's funny that 2 people can have almost the same idea. I'll have to find a link to her pic so you can see how similar they are.   We put a cello bag of valentines m&m's inside, but you could use it for gift cards, a little photo album, how about 10 tags and You could do a 10 reasons I love you gift.  This project uses the I heart hearts stamp set, which right now for everyone of these I heart heart stamp sets that is purchased, Stampin Up is giving $2.00 to the American Red Cross Haitian relief fund.
