I am finally finishing my Teapot Tuesday card! The challenge can be seen on Splitcoast: MMTPT79 Here is my card: Caption reads: you want me to jump over WHAT!? - Stamps: Karen Foster Snap Stamps; Plaque Set and Clara from the DoodleFactory Country set both from Starving Artistamps;
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo black and Tim Holtz Distress Ink—Antique Linen;
- Paper: Bazzill cardstock and DCWV Fairy Tale dp;
- Other Items: embossing folder; circle dies (Spellbinders) and circle Coluzzle; foam tape; Perfect Pearls (misted on paper for the moon—prior to embossing and cutting into a circle)
Personally, I don’t think Clara is gonna jump over anything. I don’t think she is one of those California Happy Cows!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Today is the Color Thowdown! And this week the sponsor is Starving Artistamps!!! WOO HOO! Other exciting news is that my dear sweet friend, Debi, is this month’s Guest Designer for the CTD Team!!! More WOO HOO!!!! Here is my card: The colors are: I confess, I have never held soft sky in my hand, so I did a bit of guessing. I think I went a little dark—sorry about that!! This card uses the DoodleFactory Into the Woods Stamp set. The designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket and My Mind’s Eye. These were fun colors to work with, and since snow keeps falling from the sky here, I wanted to go with a little taste of spring! I hope you can play along this week!!!

Good things about today: - It is Groundhog Day! (did you get your Groundhog day shopping done!?!)
- LOST is back on tonight!!!
- It is Anne Ryan’s birthday!! ( I hear she is 21…or is it 22?)
- It is Teapot Tuesday!!!
- Cindy Motherway has joined the Rubbernecker Design Team!!! (well, actually it was yesterday—sorry folks)
Our whole gaggle of Rubbernecker designers are super excited to have her with us!! I was going to have a fabulous Teapot Tuesday card to show you in honor of Cindy joining the team---but, well, life happened and the card didn’t! YKWIM!?! Have a FABULOUS Ground Hog Day no matter what Punxsutawney Phil sees or does not see!!

I thought I would take a crack at week’s Get Sketchy layout: Here is my take: I haven’t spent time with my first (coloring) love, watercolor—so I thought I would risk it with this cute walrus! Not seen on this photo the ice and the walrus’s tusks are highlighted with Perfect Pearls. Thanks for stopping by!!!

This week the Stampin’ Sisters in Christ challenge is to use a touch of green in a card. Here is my card: A detail shot: I used a combination of pencils and markers to color this sweetie! Using them together (markers first—always) extends the colors and color values of both my pencils and markers. Thanks for stopping by!!!
