Hi!Hi everyone! Today’s challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog is a sketch challenge. Yahhhhhhh I love sketches and it is my turn to host the challenges for November so of course we had to have a sketch challenge hehe! My card today uses “Madelynn” from The Greeting Farm … I thought that she looked a little like she might be waving so decided to pair her with this sentiment from Penny Black.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

This week it is Cindy Haffner’s turn to host the challenge, which is a sketch challenge. I used Hanna Stamps “Karate Hanna” to create my card, this is such a fun stamp set. Here is the sketch if you would like to play along with us. Recipe: Stamps: Karate Hanna – Hanna Stamps Paper: White; Black; Red; Designer Paper Other: Black Ink; Black Brads; Modern Label Tag; EK Success Wavy Dot Border Punch; Red Ink; Foam Tape; Copics Seeing Stars! It is Elzybells challenge time over on the Elzybells Art Stamps blog. This week the challenge was “Seeing Stars” …. we had to use a star (or stars) somewhere on your project. I used “Decorating Teddy” to create my card for this challenge, for the simple reason that Teddy was holding a star … I figured that was a good start! I recently purchased the Star Nestabilities so of course I wanted to use that as well. So I stamped the teddy directly onto the star and also stamped it a second time so I could cut it out and paper tole it over the other one. And finally I used the new star cuttlebug embossing folder on the green panel of my card. Don't forget to check out what the rest of the design team created for this challenge. Recipe: Stamps: Winter Couple & Warmest Greetings – Elzybells Art Stamps Paper: White; Burgundy; Green; Eskimo Kiss DP – Basic Grey Other: Black Ink; Star Nestabilities; Star Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Circle Cutter; Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon; Green Candy Dots; Foam Tape; Copics Takeout Tonight!Well I won’t really be having take out tonight, but it is the next best thing as it is my DD’s turn to cook hehe …. yahhhhh. Of course it is Wednesday which means it is time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge & Blog Hop. If you didn't hop onto my blog via Christi Thorsen's blog then you might want to hop back over to the very start of the blog hop which is at Christie Ortman's blog. This week it is Heather Lee-Reppen’s turn to issue the challenge. She has challenged us to a color challenge with a twist. We had to use the colors Black, Red & White and the twist was to add glitter to our project. I love this color combo, it has to be up there in my fav combo’s (of course I do have more then one favorite color combo LOL … how could you not *wink*) Anyway I had just purchased this oriental themed designer papers the other week and as they worked with this color combo it wasn’t hard to decide which set I would be using this week …. Paper Pretties Flirty Fortunes set! I carefully stamped the takeout box onto my designer paper so that the red symbol was on the front of my box and paper pieced this onto my box that I had on the white circle. I found this fun sketch while browsing my Google Reader recently from the Just Us Girls (JUGS) blog and decided to use it for the layout of this card. Ok so where is the glitter …. don’t worry it is there LOL … I added it to the stripes on the chopsticks! Want to play along with us
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Paper Pretties Design team to see what they came up with for this challenge. Frances Byrne (you are here!) Now to continue on the hop you need to head on over to Heather Lee-Reppen’s blog to see what she has created for this week’s challenge Recipe:

I used the zigzag border punch to create the zigzag stripe as show in the sketch. Here is the sketch if you would like to play along.
