Is Your Mercedes Ready for Winter?

Is Your Mercedes Ready for Winter?

Winter is coming fast. In fact, some places in the country have already had major snowfalls! Whether you have experienced winter weather already this year or if it is still a little warm where you are, it’s not too late to prepare your Mercedes for the cold weather. Here are some tips to help you accomplish that.

Change Your Windshield Wipers
Windshield wipers are a vital component to staying safe in the winter weather. If your wipers are cracked or simply not working well, they may not clean off your windshield properly which can hinder your view. Installing new ones for the winter season may be extra cautious, but at least you will have more confidence in them.

Check Your Lights
With the winter months comes shorter days and earlier nights. As such, the lights on your Mercedes become used more. Give your lights a quick check by turning them on and walking around your vehicle so you can be sure other cars can see you when the sun goes down.

Inspect Your Tires
Proper traction is important during the winter months. If your tires are bald or worn, you might just slip and slide on the snow and wet roads. Instead, change any tires that look worn before the next snowfall.

These are just a few things you can do to help stay safe in winter driving. You can get a complete checkup at your Princeton, NJ Mercedes dealer. When it comes to keeping your family safe, a professional checkup is the least you can do.
