Best Quotes"When I first opened (the gloves), I got filled with glee. Glee is when you run. And jump. And skip. And laugh. And clap. And dance on top of the dining room table. Then your mother takes you down from the table. And she carries you to your room for a time out....Time Outs kill the glee." Junie B. Jones From "Junie B. Jones Is Not A Crook" by Barbara Park Gingerbread Hat PatternI have designed a new hat called the Gingerbread Hat. It is a free pattern and you can find it on my blog. I designed it for my 7 yr. old daughter, Emma, but I have written the pattern for 3 sizes, small, medium and large. The Ravelry link is here. Free Faroese Shawl PatternLast week I was in Michael's looking at the knitting stuff and picked up Debbie Macomber's 'Back On Blossom Street' pattern booklet. I especially liked the pattern for Alix's Lace Prayer Shawl. Since I left the store, I haven't been able to get it out of my head. Well, guess what? It is a free online pattern. You can use any sport weight or fingering weight yarn to make it and you can find the pattern here. Enjoy!
Color Hue Test From X-RiteIf you don't have anything important to do or just want to get out of doing the laundry, here's a cool little exercise to see how well you can see changes in color hues. My eyes started to cross after a few minutes of this exercise, but it is pretty cool! Here's the link. Good luck! Coffee Mug CakeDeeelish! Try this coffe mug cake from Sherrie at the Loopy Ewe. Just a few ingredients, and a few extra chocolate chips, and a few minutes in the microwave and you have a warm, chocolate treat! You can find this recipe here.
