Thanksgiving Table Setting

I am hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year wanted to make up some table settings for my guests. I used Close To My Heart's cute Thanksgiving set called CELEBRATION FEAST. This set features Indian and Pilgrim children along with a nice fat turkey and a few other accent stamps. For my color choice I decided to use Cocoa and Barn Red. I also used some paper scraps from our Grace collection. I had planed on coloring in my images with our markers but I just did not like the look so I used plain old color pencil instead. Since these are just for my table Crayola Colored Pencils worked just fine. On Thanksgiving Day my table settings will not be so fancy as I plan on using paper plates and napkins to help cut back on dish washing and easy clean up. :)

Happy Stamping,

Cricut: Fall Wreath

I saw this great idea on You Tube using paper to create this beautiful fall wreath, so I just had to try it!

You will need:

Cricut: Speaking of Fall cartridge (pg 31 in 3" and 5", pg 50 in 6", 8"and 91/2", pg 54 in 4" and 6")

Foam Wreath

Wide wire ribbon ( I ended up using a whole roll for mine including the bow)

Fall Scrapbook Pattern Paper

Hot Glue Gun

Brown Ink

First you will wrap your wreath in the wide ribbon. I hot glued mine one to make it super simple. You could also pin it on. Then I cut out my leaves out with my cricut in several sizes and inked all the edges. Once all my leaves were cut out and inked I then adhered them on my wreath with hot glue. This seemed to be the fastest and simplest way to get them on. When placing them on my wreath I started with my larger leaves then filled in with the small ones all going in one direction. Do this until your wreath looks the way you want it. To be able to hang my I created a loop with the ribbon and hot glued that on the back. I also created a bow with the extra ribbon and hot glued it on the front of the wreath. That it! A gorgeous hand-made wreath that all your friends and family will love.

Happy Scrappin'

New POLL Now Open: Roller Skate Invitations

I have had a lot of inquiries on my Roller Skate Invitations and it got me thinking about offering a kit. How would you like to make your own Roller Skate Invitation but don't have to do all the thinking. I have a poll open to see how many of you would like to be able to purchase such a kit and be able to choose from a variety of kits in various colors but all having to do with a Roller Skate party! My kits would come with pre-cut papers, ribbon, pre-printed roller skates, envelopes and directions to create 10 Roller Skate invitations. All you need to provide is some scissors, adhesive and a little time to create 10 beautiful unique invitations. If this sounds like something you might be interested in please vote. My poll is open until the end of November.

Thanks for your help!

O Christmas Tree

I am so off on my days with yesterday being a day off from school for the kids. I feel like it is Monday. Anyways here is another fun Christmas card using the same design as last weeks card just being changed up a little bit.

This card was again made with Close To My Heart's Jingle Paper Packet. The stamp set I used Evergreen. This set has 6 different trees you can use along with two different bases, sayings and a few small accent stamps. Along with the paper and stamp set I used our new Cranberry Ribbon Round Collection and our Liquid Glass to create the clear dots and over the base of the tree to make it look shinny. Liquid Glass is one of my favorite versatile products that is a must have for any scrapper and stamper! For a finishing touch I had to had some bling to my card so I added just a little bit of yellow Stickles to my start on top of the tree.

Order any of the products listed in bold on my website.
Happy Stamping,
Elisha
