Eau De Parfum and Lace

Hello, Avril here today and I'm sharing a card using one of the background stamps from last weeks Artistic Outpost's New Release,  Eau De Parfum .   A beautiful collaged effect that didn't need any masking and layering.

I stamped the image onto pearl card with Black Archival and heat dried the image just to make sure the ink wouldn't smudge when I coloured and distressed it with inks.

I used the Beautiful Borders die for the 'lace'.   Cutting 4 pieces, I trimmed and matched the corners to fit the image, before layering onto a piece of darker pearl card.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope I've inspired you to create with your Artistic Outpost rubber stamps, and if so, please share with us on our Artistic Outpost Facebook page, we would love to see what you make.

Have a great week,

Roses In Paris

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, sharing a quick Mixed Media card designed with the February 2017 release Roses in Paris background stamp along with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies (all available at Our Daily Bread Designs).

To create this card, I stamped the Roses in Paris background stamp with embossing ink onto a piece of white card stock and heat embossed the image with black embossing powder.

I used distress inks and water-based markers to watercolor the image and fussy-cut around the edge.

I used the largest die from the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies to die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock, layered with black cardstock and mounted the entire panel onto the white card base.

I added the fussy cut Roses In Paris image and used a white paint pen to add highlights to the lamp and flowers.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by! If you have chance to create a project of your own using any of your Artistic Outpost stamps, don’t forget, we would love it if you would share your artwork with us on Artistic Outpost Facebook page!

Eiffel Collage!

Happy Friday to all of you! Did you see the incredible NEW RELEASE with so much Paris goodness? Well if you missed it, just click the link above to see Eau De Parfume, Eiffel Collage and Roses in Paris!

Today I am sharing a card using the Eiffel Collage and what a beautiful background stamp it is. I first stamped card stock using VersaMark and clear embossed. Next I inked over the entire surface with Distress Black Soot, ironed off the embossed ink.
I did stamp the image a second time using Archival Black, heat set and then watered colored the images. I did mask off the doves to keep them nice and clean. The stamps were stamped in Archival Red Geranium and Sky Blue. All were fussy cut and adhered with gel medium.
Have a most wonderful weekend and thank you for visiting today!
