Color Throwdown #288 - Countdown

Hello to all you Color Throwdown fans!  The countdown is on for the current challenge and this is a friendly reminder that you still have time to join us.  The Inlinkz will close on Monday, April 21st at 6:00 p.m. EST, so there is still time.  Did you notice we've added a new little twist to the challenges this year?  You just might be the lucky, randomly chosen guest designer for our next challenge a week later!  Good luck and hope to see you in the gallery!

Color Throwdown #288

Hi, everyone! It’s Melody and and it’s my turn as hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge #288. I chose a pretty backyard photo for us to use for inspiration this week.

As always, if you don’t have the exact colors, it’s no problem. Substitute with what you have that’s close to this week’s colors. Just be sure that your creation primarily uses only the specified challenge colors.  (All challenge rules can be reviewed in the left sidebar.) Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool we’ve provided below. And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD288 if you upload your project to an online gallery.

Here’s some inspiration from our talented team to get you started. We’re also joined by April’s guest designer, Jeanne Jachna.

Due to a little email glitch, we have two Guest Star Stampers to inspire you this week... Jane Howden, and Sandy Mathis.  Please be sure to take notice of their lovely creations!

Melody Rupple - A Paper Melody

Barbara Anders - Paper Pursuits

Joan Ervin - Stamping With a Passion

Featured Stamper #287

Thanks to everyone who took the time to play in last week’s challenge. The projects were all beautiful! It’s time to share this week’s featured stamper with you. Random.org chose number 7, which is Anita's sweet birthday card. Isn't that paper pieced elephant the cutest thing?

Congratulations Anita, you are our Featured Stamper for today, and are now invited to join us as Guest Star Stamper for the CTD challenge on April 23! Please email Tammy (tammyhershberger[at]gmail[dot]com) by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time Friday to obtain your Featured Stamper blinkie and get details for the challenge. Now, for just a few designs that caught my eye as I was checking out the creations:

#30 - Carol
#38 - Tara
#42 - Annie
#53 - Sarah
#56 - Maureen

Be sure to stop back tomorrow for a new color challenge hosted by Melody!
