Garden Girl...

Hi Peeps....

Christine here today with my card using the gorgeous Garden Girl....  I thought it was a perfect choice for summer... as I'm often out in my garden!  I wish I looked as cute as this little lady though...  somehow I don't think I do!!  There are so many fabulous Summer Fun images available at the store... why don't you take a peek??

It's very difficult to photograph this style of card...  it has a fold down the front, and the image sticks out over the fold....  know what I mean??

If you'd like more details of the materials I used..  you can always pop over to my blog HERE where you'll find a list of colours etc.

Have a wonderful day....

Welcome our June Guest Artist!

Hello Whimsie Doodles fans!!
I am so excited to introduce you to our talented June Guest Artist, Sharla!

Hi everyone, my name is Sharla, I live in Southern Utah. I'm married with two kids, 3 step-daughters and a grandbaby!  I've been scrapping, crafting, & cardmaking for many years and enjoy every part of the creative process.  I love coloring with my copics, love anything to do with reading, books, fairies and anything that fits in the fantasy genre. I love ice-cream, chocolate and diet coke...and that's me in a nutshell!

Sharla will be joining us for the month of June, and sharing her adorable Whimsie Doodles creations! Here is a look at some of her lovely works of art...

Eeeek! So much eye candy!! I can't wait to see what else she inspires us with next month!

Be sure to stop by Sharla's Blog, and give her a big Whimsie Doodles welcome!

Love You to The Moon and Back

Hello Whimsie Doodles Friends,

It's Andrea here wishing you a very happy Friday.

Today I am sharing a card that actually came together by accident!  I was playing around with my copics and spritzer for the first time and unintentionally created a background which looked like space!! Once I realised this I knew exactly which digi stamp set I was going to use.....the amazing Space Cadets Collection.

I absolutely love this colleciton of 8 digi's. The cute spaceman and the earth are from this set.  It also includes, amongst other things, some awesome aliens. I may have to share at least one other 'space' card with you in the future!

My card also fits with this month's challenge theme - One for the Men!  I hope this inspires you to play along with us this month.

If you would like more details on the supplies I used please come and visit my blog.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.  Hope to see you again soon.
Hugs Ax

You're the Mac to My Cheese

Hello Friends!  Here's an unexpected card for you!!

Call me crazy, but I don't think expressing your love should be restricted to Valentine's Day.  I made this card for my daughter's birthday a few weeks ago.  Mac n Cheese is a big deal at her house filled with little boys....so this card was perfect for her.  She said it made her laugh out loud.

You simply must check out the Valentine Punnies digital stamp set. Even though the name says Valentine, you don't have to use it only in February.  Puns are ALWAYS fun....so think outside the box and see if this set is right for you and right for any month.

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a great day!

Susie

Mr. Fix It

Hi Whimsie Doodles fans!!
Laura here with you today... I took a little bit of time off, but I'm back today to share a card using Mr. Fix It!

I love this little guy!! I'm lucky to have a husband that is pretty handy around the house, and my son is following in his daddy's footsteps. He is 6, and is better with a hammer and screw-driver than most adults! He even has his own tool set! I'm thinking this might be a cute card for him to give his dad for Father's Day. :)

My card also fits in with this month's challenge theme - One For The Guys! I hope you'll play along!

Thanks so much for visiting today!
