Let's Play

Hello everybody!

It is Patricia here with my first post as DT member of Whimsie Doodles. I hope you like my projects.

I followed the theme for our current monthly challenge at Whimsie Doodles blog, rainbow colors. Did you know that you don't need to use a Whimsie Doodles image for the chance to win?

Today I would like to share the card I made using the stamp called Crafty Lizzie that you can find here
I colored it mainly with Spectrum Noir markers but the skin is colored with Copics. For the background I used pigment inks and a circle stencil. For more details you can go to my blog

I hope you had a great weekend and you have a great week crafting!

Introducing Two New Doodlelicious Divas

Hi Whimsie Doodles Fans,

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who applied to join our small team, the entries were fantastic and we had a hard time choosing some new members. Unfortunately we could not take everyone!  So without further ado please welcome our two new Diva's.

My name is Patricia Alvarez. I am from Spain but I have been living in the USA for several years. I have been drawing animals since I can remember, but I started making cards a few years ago. I love coloring rubber and digital stamps and make cards with them. I usually make CAS cards, but I am learning little by little other styles. Outside of the crafting world, I love to be outdoors with my family, spending time with my friends and reading. You can visit Patricia's blog here http://kindacutecards.blogspot.com/

My name is Karen, and I enjoy papercrafting, sharing and inspiring others with my creations. I absolutely love using rubber stamps and/or digi images, then coloring them with my Copic markers. Papercrafting is my passion, keeps my life balanced, and takes me to my happy place. I have been blogging since January 2012 and have had the opportunity to work on many Design Teams.
I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Washington. I currently live in the city of Tukwila with my hubby, Kurt. We have been married 34 years and we have two handsome sons, Kyle and Kory. I am a Finance Tech II for a large school district during the work week. Evenings and weekends, I try to spend time in my crafty space whenever time allows.
Besides having a passion for papercrafting, I also enjoy baking, cooking, eating good food, red wine, dark chocolate, traveling and laughing. Basically, I just want to have fun and enjoy life!

Happy Crafting

Hang in There

Hi There,

It's Andrea here today wishing you all all very happy Friday.

Today I would like to share a card I made using one of the awesome Freebies that are available in the Store.

I love red and black and also love ladybugs so I really wanted to colour up the Hang in There image so out came my trusty copics.

I added some glossy accents to his nose and some black enamel accents to his black spots which added some extra dimension.  I paired the image up with some scrap pieces of designer paper I had in my stash. I picked up the cute wee wooden ladybug in the dollar shop a while ago and I had to add him to my card too! For a detailed list of the supplies I used please pop over to my blog.

Have a great weekend and happy crafting.
Hugs Ax

Spring Lizzie

Hi Whimsie Doodle Fans..

Christine here today - sharing my card using the lovely Spring Lizzie which you can find here HERE in the shop.

I decided to use fresh colours for Lizzie - and as she's out in the garden, I thought yellows and greens would suit her - finished off with a deep peach hat to go with the centre of the flowers on the design paper.

I finished her off with some rustic button twine, and some enamel dots on the embossed background.

If you'd like more details of colours etc, pop over to my blog HERE.

Thanks for looking and have a great day...

Christine x
