Hello, and welcome!
If you are following along in order of the hop, you have arrived from the darling and oh-so-talented Amy Tsuruta's blog
I am thrilled to be the next stop on the Moxie Fab Thanks blog hop!!
It is incredible that 285 card makers from across the globe have come together to share their appreciation of the MOXIE FABULOUS Cath Edvalson, Trends Editor for Paper Crafts
Magazine. We all just learned that she will no longer hold that position, and to say that it came as a huge surprise is an understatement. The Moxie Fab World and Cath will always be inseparable in my mind; they both will be sorely missed.
I have a few words of thanks for Cath...
I have long been a fan of Cath's Moxie Fab World challenges, and to say that they (and she!!) will be missed is an understatement. While my participation may have waned over the past few years (darn full-time job taking away my crafty time), I read the Moxie Fab blog regularly and am always inspired by everything that Cath posts. I truly credit Cath and the Moxie Fab World with teaching me myriad things about my paper crafting hobby.
Cath/MFW really taught me to step outside of the box when it came to color challenges. When looking at the colors in a color challenge, I often thought, "Really?".... but was encouraged to give it a try, and in the end was always pleasantly surprised by the final result.
Tuesday Trigger challenges were always a favorite. Although I normally took what I thought was a very literal interpretation of the challenge, I greatly enjoyed pulling colors and textures from the inspiration photo and interpreting them via various elements on a card.
Trends. Trends. Trends. Cath taught and inspired me with her trend watching ... from sharing products from the floor of the National Stationery Trade Shows, to highlighting hot new products from the floors of CHA.... from sharing the pages of fashion and home decor catalogs, to spotlighting trendy mages from Pinterest and all over the web... I will be forever grateful for this education and learning how to look at print/ads/the world around me with a creative eye.
For all of this, I am very thankful. And Cath, I send you my sincere thanks...
Thank you for your inspiration, encouragement and developing this amazing community of paper crafters that I am honored to be hopping with today.
I am extremely grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting you at CHA-Chicago several moons ago;
it was an honor to have made your acquaintance. Cath, you will surely be missed.
I compiled a "MOXIE FAB FLASHBACK" of all of the cards that I created for Moxie Fab challenges over the past five years. I really enjoyed looking back at all of the challenges, hope you enjoy!
Here is my first Moxie Fab World challenge card, way back in 2008 (wow, that was a LONG time ago!!)....
To my last MFW challenge card from just last week:
And all of the cards in between....
Thank you Cath, thank you paper crafting friends, thank you fellow blog hoppers for this AMAZING celebration of one very MOXIE FAB chick... Cath you ROCK!!
Next stop on the Moxie Fab Thanks blog hop is the blog of super cute and super talented

I don't know about you, but I am a HUGE fan of fall. When I saw this gorgeous trigger photo
I knew I had to play along with this challenge in Moxie Fab World:
Here is my take:
I chose papers by My Mind's Eye that evoke the colors of the leaves and the brown circle die cut represents the gorgeous wooden bowl.
Such a fun challenge to tackle on a beautiful fall day!
Thanks for stopping by!!
A holiday just for us card makers... how sweet is that?

I worked on some cards for a publication call, and participated in a challenge too :)
Scrapbook and Cards Today had a oodles of great card ideas posted by their designers, tons of great sketches, and a fun card challenge -
Gather together some Stickers, Chipboard and Twine, along with 1 envelope, 2 pieces of cardstock, and 3 pieces of patterned paper to create a beautiful “thank you” card to send to someone who always gives you the lift you need…when you need it! We all have those great friends in our lives so now is the time to tell them how much you appreciate them!
Inspired by this challenge, I gathered up my supplies and created this beauty...
... are far and few
