I don't like making sympathy cards, however, they are a necessity for card-givers like me. I've learned lately to keep at least one on hand at all times. There are times when you want your card to arrive in a timely fashion or you wish to be able to drop one off with flowers at short notice. Where's the Cake?

Happy Birthday! Now Where's The Cake? I love this sentiment because it's how I think about birthdays! I love the colors on this card. I CASEd this card from Stamp It Up With Jamie. I think I used slightly different colors than she did: Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Punch and Pool Party. I enjoy watercoloring with our ink pads onto our water color paper. It makes me feel like a real painter!

Casing Easter Cards

Two Easter cards inspired from the Occasions Catalog! The above card is pretty much how it is in the catalog, page 19. I love the gold embossing on both the sentiment and the draped cross. Very rich. The background is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Falling in Love Designer Series Paper. Here is cased another card from the same page. Instead of using designer series paper, I used sponge daubers
