Hello Lovelies!
This week's meal prep consisted of some Honey Chipotle Chicken Thighs which were DELISH! I coupled them with Basmati Rice and Mixed Veggies. I also drizzled about a teaspoon of Ken's Steak House Lite Asian Sesame with Ginger and Soy salad dressing onto my mixed veggies to give the dish an Asian flare.
I was able to prep 3 lunch containers for Monday through Wednesday. I ate one chicken thigh by itself once the chicken was finished cooking. Don't judge me; I couldn't wait..... I ate the last chicken thigh on top of a salad. It was soooooo tasty!
If you want to try and prepare it yourself, the recipe is included below.
For my afternoon snack, I prepared mason jar salads and had Ken's Steak House Raspberry Pecan Dressing to top it off.
Remember, your meals do not have to be dull and boring. Try and spice it up the healthy way. Let me know if you tried it and how you liked it!
Hello Lovelies!
After having my baby, I felt the need to organize my at home workout space to minimize slips, trips, and falls.
I decided to purchase the Marcy Apex Dumbbell Rack. It’s a 3 tier dumbbell rack that is angled for easier access while grabbing your dumbbell. It doesn't take up much space at all.
My space looks much better and it makes me want to get my workouts in being that all of the weights I have are racked. This is a plus that you don't always get to experience when you visit your local gyms. Well, that has been my experience with my current gym.
The dumbbell rack wasn't difficult to put together; just make sure your ratchet set is in good working condition.
This is what it looked like before.
This is what it looks like now!
Is your workout area organized?
Hello Lovelies!
As you have probably noticed, I am really excited about my bundle of joy who is expected to arrive any day now!
I wanted to share a few of my maternity photos from a recent shoot. Pamela of PD Photography did a phenomenal job and I enjoyed each and every moment of that experience, yes even the 37 degree weather with strong wind gusts. I braved it out :-).
Hair and Makeup were done by yours truly. I studied YouTube videos for my makeup look. I will post about the twist out in an upcoming post, so be on the lookout for that.
Hello Lovelies!!
I hope that you all are having a great day thus far. Yesterday, I posted a blog about what I packed in my baby's hospital bag. Today, I am sharing what I packed in my own hospital bag in the video below.
The bags are in my vehicle and ready to go. I have also had the car seat installed and inspected.
I am so excited to meet my baby girl. Please feel free to let me know what you packed in your hospital bag and what you actually used.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you all!
Until Next Time,
Hello Lovelies!!
It's been a while. I pray that you all had a wonderful time bringing in the New Year!
Well, I am awaiting the arrival of my first baby and I am so excited!! I am 38 weeks and 2 days. I have been preparing for my baby girl's arrival and it has been a wonderful journey.
In preparation for when it is time for me to head to the hospital, I have been looking at lists to give me an idea of what to pack in my baby's bag as well as my own.
I have included the video of what's in my baby's bag below. Feel free to leave comments as to what you actually used versus what you packed in your little one's bag.
I hope you enjoy!
