How FeedAdvisor Works
What's your secret sauce?
FeedAdvisor looks at your subscriptions. It then looks at all the users in the FeedBlitz subscription database who subscribe to the same feeds you do. It then looks at the content that these subscribers look at in turn, and then uses a proprietary algorithm to rank the content by relevance for you.
FeedAdvisor takes out content that you are already tracking, and you can also instruct it to not include content that you don't find relevant.
Finally, the top three choices are presented to you. They're tailored to you, and are potentially unique for each and every individual subscriber in FeedBlitz.
Exploring the Subscription Web with FeedAdvisor
FeedBlitz users can explore FeedAdvisor one of two ways.
From subscription emails
Click the preview icon to preview content identified by FeedAdvisor - at the foot of each previewed feed are the FeedAdvisor settings for that content. So the Subscription Web emerges, one preview at a time, for you to follow. Find a feed you like, click the green subscribe checkmark, and you're in. And your subscription is included by FeedAdvisor, which dynamically adjusts its analyses based on updated subscriptions.
From the FeedBlitz dashboard
Publishers and subscribers can log in to FeedBlitz and, from the dashboard, preview their feeds and explore the FeedAdvisor analyses from the Web without having to wait for their next email update.
