On the right here is a live FeedBlitz Widget with all of Phil Hollows' (FeedBlitz's Founder and CEO) public publications. Use this widget to showcase all your content, and to make it simple for your readers to subscribe to any of your syndications.
Privacy
The widget is available for all FeedBlitz publishers, but it is up to you as to whether you use it. If you do, your syndications will be made visible, except for those marked as being hidden from our FeedAdvisor search engine.
What's in the Widget
The widget shows all your public syndications, allowing you to easily attract visitors to all your other content. The name of the syndication is first, and clicking the link takes you to the web site associated with that subscription. Next to that are two icons:
Click to subscribe by mail
Click to subscribe by RSS
At the foot of the widget is our little blurb, and two more icons. What do these do? They allow users to:
Subscribe to your live blogroll or reading list all at once in a single process; and
Automatically add new subscriptions as you add them.
The secret sauce behind this is OPML. The blue OPML icon takes the reader to the OPML file Feedblitz maintains and hosts for your public subscriptions. Readers can automatically import this OPML file into their RSS aggregators if they have them.
The email icon takes this one step futher. FeedBlitz will create an email subscription to your entire public list for the subscriber, in one fell swoop. As you add subscriptions, all the subscribers to your blogroll OPML file will have the same subscription added to their subscriptions as well. They can unsubscribe later on, of course, feed by feed, if they wish.
