If you've been intrigued by Apple's pricey Magic Mouse but run Windows, or want its multi-touch scrolling powers to work in a Windows installation in Boot Camp, you're in luck. Windows-compatible drivers have been extracted to install at your leisure.
From the comments found at the Uneasy Silence blog and our sibling Gizmodo, it seems that installing these drivers—extracted from a Bluetooth update for Macs—brings finger-controlled scrolling and all basic functionality to Windows. Some of the more complex maneuvers aren't quite working, however, in XP, Vista, or 7.
So if the mouse itself is an ergonomic must-have for your Windows machine, or you just want better Bootcamp compatibility, these will probably get you up and running. If you're looking for crazy multi-finger swipes and other tricks on a Windows machine, you might want to wait for a more full-fledged, probably third-party patch.
