One Pot Chili Cheese Pasta

One Pot Chili Cheese Pasta - everything cooks in the same skillet, even the pasta!! Canned chili, cream cheese, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, pasta, garlic, chili powder and cheddar cheese. Everyone cleaned their plate! So quick and easy to make. Ready in under 20 minutes!

This One Pot Chili Cheese Pasta was ready in under 20 minutes, and everything cooks in the same skillet, even the pasta! Woohoo! This dish was inspired by one of my favorite tailgating dip - Chili Cheese Dip. The dip is incredible and it always the first thing to go at our tailgates! I decided to take those amazing flavors and put it in an easy one pot pasta dish. If the dip was good, I was sure that it would be even better in a yummy pasta dish. I was right this stuff was amazing! We both gobbled this up and went back for seconds. Chicken Legs has already requested this for dinner again next week. It is perfect for watching football!!

Buttermilk Pound Cake

Buttermilk Pound Cake - THE BEST! There are never any leftovers when I take this to a potluck. Sugar, shortening, eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, flour and vanilla, butter and nut flavoring. Makes a great gift! Freezes well too!!

Pound cakes are my go-to dessert. They are easy to make and always a hit! This Buttermilk Pound Cake is no exception. It has great flavor from the buttermilk and the Vanilla, Butter & Nut flavoring. The flavoring is the same flavoring that I used in my Butter Pecan Pound Cake. We loved that cake, so I decided to use the flavoring in this pound cake. It made the cake! SO good!!!

This Buttermilk Pound Cake is a little different that my other pound cake recipes. This recipe uses Crisco instead of butter. I haven't made this with butter, so I can't say how it would work if you want to substitute butter. I urge you to try the cake the way the recipe is written. It is really good. Not overly sweet, moist and full of flavor.

I used a tube pan for this recipe and it was the perfect size. If you use a Bundt pan, make sure to leave about an inch of the pan unfilled. You need to leave room for the cake to rise. If you fill the pan to the top with batter, it will overflow in the oven and make a huge mess.

I really suggest using a tube pan. I've been making all my pound cakes in them lately and I love it! Here is a link to my favorite pan: http://amzn.to/2bcBrhd

Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - THE BEST potatoes EVER! Everything cooks in the same pan - easy cleanup! Only 5 ingredients! Potatoes, heavy cream, garlic, parsley, and mozzarella cheese. I could have a made a meal out of these potatoes. I'm still thinking about them! SO good! Easy side dish that is ready in 30 minutes.

I am in LOVE with these Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes! I could have made a meal out of them. They are ridiculously good! They are also ridiculously easy to make! Just dump everything in the pan and bake. Couldn't get any easier!

The key to getting these Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes super creamy and delicious is stirring the potatoes every 10 minutes while they are baking. It helps the potatoes cook evenly and get nice and creamy. I topped the potatoes with some mozzarella cheese. I'm going to try these Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with some gouda next time. YUM!

*I used a hand-held mandoline slicer to slice the potatoes. It is great! Only takes a minute and you have evenly sliced potatoes that are nice and thin. Perfect tool for this dish and it is only about $15.**
